Mission Statement
I'm Dan Dieguez and I'm a Certified Personal Trainer. I want to make fitness fun for you so that you look forward to incorporating exercise into your weekly routine, rather than dreading it. No matter when you start exercising, whether you're 16 years old like I was, or 80, research studies have shown your health and well being will benefit.
My love of fitness stretches back 50 years. In the 1970's (when I was a teen) and long before circuit training, boot camps and kickboxing became household words, I realized the importance of a balanced, healthy, fitness lifestyle. I chose fitness role models to guide and inspire my efforts, among them Bruce Lee, Jack LaLanne, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. I started with Kung-fu and Kickboxing, then began strength training with weights, and continued on by learning six types of martial arts. I'm glad I was onto something. Today, all of these activities are mainstream.
I've always enjoyed motivating people to engage in demanding exercise and healthy habits -- including a lifestyle that balances work and play. I keep up with the latest in health and fitness information. My years of experience and diverse athletic activities enrich the options I recommend to my clients.
